Goal:

Virtual Desktop to organize SAPGui windows.

For SAP Poweruser or Software developers, to keep track of many SAPGui windows,
of different systems, mandants, users.
.

Allows accelerated access to your SAPGui windows,
saves time and nerves.

Attributes:

  1. Separate SAPGui Windows by Criteria(System, Mandant, User, Transaktion).
  2. Hide Taskbar Icons.
  3. Activate/deactivate whole groups of windows.
  4. Move Windows by dragging the virtual Windows of the VDesktops.
  5. Indicate Debugger Window, for easy access to Debugger Sessions.

/3 VDesktop is devided into six virtual Desktops.
Each of these desktops can be set with different criteria.

  1. System
  2. Mandant
  3. Benutzer
  4. Transaction code

It would be possible to define a virtual Desktop for only SE38 transaction, or to group all windows of a certain System ID together.

Activate windows by clicking their corresponding mini - image in one of the desktops F,
or by hitting the Push buttons(below).
Debugger Sessions are indicated with '-' (Dash) as button text to quick access Debugger sessions.

Real windows can be moved by dragging their mini - image.

Selection Screen

Open Context menu with properties by right clicking the background of a box. Here you can enter the criteria for this virtual desktop.

Menu 'Unzoom' controls the display size of the VDesk windows.
'Cascade Windows' cascades the mini - images in the VDesk, else the windows will be arranged according to their position on the real Desktop.

Using VDesk/3

After completing the setup for the VDesks, Windows can be activated by clicking them with the left mouse button.
Hovering over a button in the VDesk will display a tooltip with the title of the SAPGui Window.
Right clicking an holding a mini - image will enable dragging of the real window.
Clicking the background of a box will activate all windows of this VDesk and hides all other windows.
